PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) is a computer-based English language test that assesses all four key language skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. It can be used for various purposes, such as university admissions, immigration applications, and scholarship applications.
Anyone 16 years of age or older who wants to prove their English language proficiency for various reasons (education, immigration, scholarship applications, etc.) can register for PTE Academic. Those who are 16 or 17 years old can participate with a completed Parental Consent form.
The exam fee for PTE Academic at Test Centers in Turkey is ..... TL if you register during the regular registration period. If you register less than 2 days (48 hours) before the scheduled test date, you will be charged a 25% late fee. You must pay the exam fee by credit card.
It is recommended to register at least 72 hours in advance to take the PTE Academic on your preferred date. Currently, there are PTE Academic test centers in Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, Denizli, Erzurum, Kayseri, and Diyarbakır, Turkey. It is advised to check the PTE Academic website regularly as new test centers may be added.
Equivalency for exemption from preparatory classes must be confirmed by the relevant university's School of Foreign Languages or Preparatory School. *In the sixth article of the first paragraph of the announcement dated 26.02.2016 of ÖSYM's Foreign Language Examinations Equivalency Directive and Equivalency Table, it is stated that "If the exam is conducted in Turkey, it must be conducted only in buildings belonging to state universities" from the perspective of the representative of the exam conducting organization.
