ACTIVITIES

In order to claim “I speak English”; one should transfer his knowledge into real life by using the achieved knowledge.

We organize various activities for our students so that they can practice, comprehend and have more experience in using English. In this way they can reinforce what they have learnt.

These free-of-charge activities are organized as extra-curricular hours to enable them to participate individually.

1 SPEAKING CLUB

Speaking club performed by native speaker teachers is an indispensable activity for our school. Students can have discussions about daily subjects to turn their theoretical knowledge into practice. Furthermore they can listen, speak and develop their communication skills in a peaceful and natural environment.

2 GRAMMAR CLUB

We provide Grammar club activities in which students from all levels can participate individually. Therefore they can have the chance to compensate for the lessons they have missed.

3 COMPUTER- INTERNET CLUB

The intensive use of computers plays an important part in our education program. Students can benefit from the computer laboratory either individually or with a teacher.

4 READING CLUB

Reading club which provides books, magazines, newspapers and various texts appropriate for each level, aims at improving students’ comprehension skills and word stock.

E-book which is one of the latest technological inventions is also another source they can use.

5 CINEMA CLUB

Cinema club is an important privilege that British Time presents for students. It is both a social activity and a way to help them improve their English. Firstly students are prepared for the reading passages, vocabulary and the expressions used in the film then they watch it in the original language and with English subtitles. After watching it, students can develop themselves by discussing and expressing their ideas.

6 TEST CLUB

Students can make use of the various sources which are prepared specially for each subject and level.

7 MAKE-UP CLUB

In case a student isn’t able to participate in the grammar club to compensate the lesson that he has missed, he has the opportunity to get an appointment for one-to-one make-up lessons.
